Hi, my name is Andrew Shimasaki. I’m a 4th Generation Japanese American. I’ve lived in Tokyo, Los Angeles, New York City, and Honolulu. I graduated from Parsons the New School for Design in New York City with a BFA in Communications Design. During my time as a student I worked for a variety of companies designing catalogs, web media, and corporate collateral. But my main skills are in creating and developing 2D Artwork for products. I also worked in the fashion industry developing artwork and tech packs for both women’s and men’s clothing. My experience living in major metropolitan areas has exposed me to many cultures, lifestyles, and creative communities, which helped develop my artistic worldview.
